A long evening dress often means fabric tangling around your legs and watching every step on the stairs. A shorter one, on the other hand, can feel too casual for a formal occasion. This one solves that with a single cut.

The top is ruched at the bust and waist, which gives shape without constricting, whilst the thin straps and V-neckline keep everything light for warm days. The layered skirt falls to the floor at the back and is shorter at the front. White magnolias on a dark background work beautifully for an evening dinner or a casual garden party.
